Haddyn's bibs all have little pockets at the bottom of them and of course, she always drops food into them. Sometimes this happens on accident and other times it's because she purposely stores food in there until she's done eating. When I take her tray off she always goes right for the pocket to find what kind of treasures are hiding in there and decides if she wants to eat them or not. Her favorite thing to do this with is her cereal...especially Cheerios cause there are always some waiting for her in there. It's so funny!! Here's a video of her totally mesmerized by Winnie the Pooh, but eating from her pocket....

Happy Anniversary!!
It has been a bit since I posted again and I have to no good reason, just haven't done it! There really isn't anything extreme to post about, but I'll bring everyone up on life. Scott and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary last Friday and that was pretty cool. 5 years--that went fast! We went to Idaho Falls and went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and then did some shopping (for Haddyn of course). We stayed at a suite in the Ameritel Inn and it was lots of fun. Haddyn stayed with Scott's parents and she had all kinds of fun too! I am a huge slacker and I have no photos of the excursion, but we did have a deal to have "homemade" gifts and I have pictures of his gift I made and what is left of my gift from him.
I had to post his gift a few pages at a time because it was too big to get in one photo, but here it is...This book was sweat and blood and tears of his wife, which he very much so appreciated. However, this was my "homemade" gift...I was informed that the candy was homemade :) It was still very sweet because this would be the first card I've received in about 4 1/2 years and it was very well thought out and perfect, plus he got all my favorite candies. I have THE BEST MAN out there and I'm willing to go outside and fight that one out :)
Here is a random video of Haddyn showing off for her Daddy and saying all of the words he wants her too. She talks kinda quiet so you have to listen close, but Scott is so proud of his little girl!! I love it!!! (Good thing that was included in my top ten reasons my man is the best man huh?) My new favorite word is "ice". It's the only word she gets the s sound into and she just keeps going and going with it. It's really funny! I also better clarify the fact she won't shake her head no in the video, she just says no while shaking yes. Our little confused child : ) AND, she says I Love You by using sign language, but she can't quite get her fingers right, so that is what the princess wave is. Oh well, at least she (and her parents) know what she's talking about most of the time, even if everyone else thinks she is a little odd like her mommy!

Ski Trip
This weekend Scott and I went for an overnight trip with our best pals Taylor and Sarah to Pomerelle. We went night skiing on Saturday night and then stayed at a hotel in Twin Falls. It was the first overnight trip for us from Haddyn and it was great...I didn't sleep for crap cause baby or no baby in room, you still listen for them, but it was tons of fun and Haddyn did great at Grandma and Grandpa Kroff's.
So this trip was the first ski trip for Taylor and Sarah in about 10 years and they both did great!! Sarah was so scared and she did really well. We were all sore just after watching her the first 2 runs because she was so stiff the whole way down, but she still did awesome and didn't even get hurt! GO SARAH!!!The last run of the night Scott and I took Taylor through the trees while Sarah waited at the bottom of the hill. He did really great too...he only crashed once and we were in front of him so we didn't even get to see it. But, I was not so lucky. Scott and Taylor left the leading up to me and then they heard "Man Down!!" This is the pickle they found when they got to me... I am laying there helpless with my arm caught under me in my pole and twisted backward against a tree while Scott takes a pic...isn't that sweet? :) All I have to say is I'm glad I had a helmet for that one!
We had a really good time and we were all so tired by the end of the night we didn't make it past dinner, the hot tub and a nice hot shower to play games or anything! Great friends, great times!!!

When Did She Become A Little Girl???
I took this picture of Haddyn last weekend at my sister's house while she was eating dinner and when I downloaded it I thought...where is my baby??? She looks so cute and grown up like a little girl instead of a baby!! Sorry about the food overtaking the pic, but notice the ketchup already??? Yup, she got that from her MOMMY :)
Well, I may still see her as a baby, but the truth is she is 16 months old, smarter than me half the time, can throw a fit like a 3-year-old and cute as a button!!! Who'da thunk Scott and I reproducing could make something so cute and spunky??
