Yes Haddyn, We Know Honey...

Haddyn loves to drag her pillow and blanket all over the house and "nap". So the other day she had her pillow and blanket in the living room and was trying to spread her blanket out flat to lay down. Well, Stetson decided he wanted to get in on that fun too. Haddyn starts screaming of course, because Stetson is all up in her grill...or at least I'm pretty sure that's how she'd explain it if she knew what that even meant. Stetson is very good at this too. He may be quiet, but he is just like his Papa and learns quickly how to push buttons. :) So, Scott tells her, "Haddyn, Stetson is just trying to help you sweetie, don't cry." To this Haddyn responds, "I know Daddy, but all of the help in the world isn't gonna make me happy."

Yes Haddyn, we know honey, we know.....

For Pa...Who May Disown Me If I Don't Get These Posted!

Sorry for being a HUGE slacker, but I swear I'm not sitting around and twiddling my thumbs! I actually started this post 4 months ago and never got it finished, so I'm starting over. Here are some pics of the house. Someday I will get all caught up on life. Heaven help me keep up with life when I have 3 kids, or 4 kids. {No, this is NOT an announcement;)} Although I would no longer CRY if I found out I was pregnant, there will be no more October born children in this family if I can help it!
Anyway, we have now lived in our home for 5 months and almost have everything inside finished. We still have not tackled touch-up painting, but I'm thinking that won't happen until the kiddos can leave for a weekend. We are, however, in the process of finishing 2 bedrooms in the basement so we will finally have somewhere for our friends and family to stay when they come to visit. Did you see that, WHEN...so, sign ups start now and don't hesitate because we are quite confident the slots will fill up fast! :) Kidding!
There still hasn't been much done with decorating and don't judge the green duvet cover...I haven't found one that matches and that I like yet, but here is our bedroom. It has just the one accent wall and I couldn't get the sun right to take a pic of the wall with 2 windows on it opposite to the accent wall, so that will have to come later after some decorating. (P.S. Haddyn was not going to budge, so enjoy the cute addition to the photo!)I guess I'd better preface that I don't have all the pics I should and I left my camera at my sister's house last weekend so I can't take more right now. I would just wait to post, but well, we see what happened when I did last time and unless you want to wait until June to see this, I'll add those later ;)
Here is our master bath. Scott did the tile work around the it. Although he did a GREAT job on it, I actually proposed not to have a soaker and just have a huge shower, but everyone with their "resale value" said we needed to have one. So, since I only bathe when I'm pregnant and in my last trimester, that leaves A LOT of open time for anyone to come and put our tub to use! Next up, our potty of course. This is the master toilet room. It contains just that, a toilet. Oh yah, and a fan, so I can shut Scotty in there and he won't die. :) Here is our master shower. Not quite as big as I would LOVE, but cleaning it shows me it is indeed big enough. We decided not to sentence ourselves to death and tile around the shower and went with a marble insert instead. We have LOVED it and boy did it save a lot of time. Totally worth the money, that is for sure! Two extra shelves and of course...my shaving pedestal. I am pretty spoiled. Here are a couple of pics of our walk-in closet. Lots of holes for shoes! Scott thought I would fill them no problem, but apparently he forgot that almost 7 years ago when we got married my shoe buying slowed considerably. Well, pretty much stopped. Would you take this as permission to start again???
My SideScott's SideI feel I should include that Scott finally got his new T.V.!!! He has been wanting one for about 4 years and we have always had our awesome 20" from before we were married. Even after he built our enormous entertainment center in hopes that a 50" television would follow, it did not. So, on Black Friday of last year he stood in line at Best Buy in Twin Falls in freezing temperatures from midnight until 5 A.M. when he finally purchased his 50" plasma beauty he has been lusting after for so long. We also sold our beautiful beast of an entertainment center and Scott built a smaller and more manageable T.V. stand. It is also very pretty, although I loved, loved our old one. My hubby is so talented!!Here is the one wall of the living room that I have a picture of being decorated. Our new walls were too big, so we had to get bigger photos and frames and of course that cute "FAMILY" board is new too. It is lots of fun decorating a new house, but it is also very expensive. Therefore, it becomes a very slow process as well. BTW, ignore the huge stacks of Christmas decor in the entry way patiently waiting for my man to carry them downstairs. Rest assured, they are no longer there ;)Next is the amazing linen closet outside our main bath that I have waited almost 7 years to have. There has not been one residence we have inhabited that has had a decent linen closet. I had them take a foot out of Stetson's closet and add it to this closet to have a place for sheets, towels and even a few blankets! YAY!!!Main bathroom...and these pics are a little old. The mirror is hung on the wall now and there are a couple of things on the walls, but I don't have my camera for new pics, so you'll just have to get the idea. We bought a new shower curtain for this bathroom, but we haven't put it up because nobody ever uses this shower and the kids bathe in the tub every night so it would be a pain to have it up. Scott did such a great job on the tile I'd rather show that off than a curtain anyway! I was threatened with my life that I'd better keep stuff on both of those shelves in the shower because they were so hard to do and I do a pretty good job of it! Next is Stetson's room...and no, still nothing on his walls, so there will be an update here later.Haddyn and Stetson's closets are identical and I LOVE the organization and the shoe shelves. Great job to our friend Tate who did an AMAZING job on all of our closets!!I just realized I have no picture of the other half of the closet with the shelves, so that will come later too! Also, Haddyn's room is in the middle of having a lot done with it right now, so I'm going to hold off on that pic as well.
Here is the laundry room. Lots of room and best part...I can shut the door!! Yay! New washer and dryer too...wish I could say I LOVE them, but it's been a real pain and we've had issue after issue with them so not so much LOVING them. Still, they do a lot more laundry a lot quicker WITHOUT leaving rust stains on my clothes, so yah...I likey a lot, just not LOVING it. ha,haThat ironing board will be hung up, but these cubbies in here are nice (also courtesy of Tate Vance's design) and Scott is going to add some coat hooks to them. Last thing for today is the tile surround in the kitchen. My bro Shon and his kids came to Pomerelle to go skiing and got snowed in, so they hung out for a couple of days and Shon helped Scott put the tile up. Thanks again Shon!!! They did a great, great job! I have one in the process and then the finished pic. Since these pics have been taken Scott and I have finished grouting the tile, but it didn't change the look much and again, no new pic to show anyway! Excuse all of the stuff on the counter...the boys were still working on the other end of the counter and so everything I was cooking with had to be in this one area. Oh well, just look at the darn tile and don't judge me. he,heSomeday I will get back on here and do some more updates, but until then, this post should be long enough to keep you feeling like you're reading a chapter novel.
