STRESSED OUT!!

So, last Friday I sat down to blog about my Dr.'s appointment last week and just a general update and as I went into my photo program to check if there were any new photos or videos to post as well, I found out that the memory vault had been deleted and there was no longer any photos on my computer. Hmm. Well, let me go back about 10 minutes...
We had a desktop that we are no longer using so we decided to give it away to some friends who could use it. I had a friend get everything off of the hard drive of the computer for me so I could give it to them and he had saved everything on my laptop in a separate folder so we could sort through and keep or erase what we wanted later. So, to make a long story short, I had erased a file folder from inside this "Old Dell HD" folder from what I thought was the old computer about 10 minutes earlier and although I should have figured out something funny was going on when it told me the file was too big and needed to bypass the recycle bin and I hadn't even seen any pics in this file, I did not and pushed enter to erase it. Well, then I...LUCKILY...decide to do a post and just happen to open this program to discover I had just erased all of our photos. FABULOUS!
Let me give you a small indication on how fast and hard my heart dropped--I had JUST put all of the pics from the old computer onto mine and into this program from before Haddyn was born and we had just gotten an external hard drive, but we used it first with Scott's Apple computer and it formatted itself to it and I have a PC, so it is unusable to me, therefore, I have NO BACKUP COPY OF MY PHOTOS. Also, I have yet to scrapbook or print a photo of one day of my daughter's life, so...there went all of it. Well, try to realize I am 8 and 3/4 months pregnant right now and I will admit I have been a little short fused and kind of raunchy with this pregnancy (good thing it's almost over), but I haven't been emotional at all. In fact, besides like 2 tears that may have slipped out for a movie once or twice, I can't even remember the last time I cried and I'm sure it was before I was pregnant---so imagine the flood gates that were opened that morning!! Haddyn was like "Mommy ok?" Then she would kiss me and say "Mommy better now!" What would I do without her?
Anyway, after making Haddyn kneel down with me and say a prayer (there is something so amazing about a little 2 year old's voice saying a prayer!) I went to work calling anyone I could think of that knows anything about computers. After about 4 calls and 1 1/2 hours later I was put in touch with a guy in our ward that is an IT wiz and thought he should be able to recover at least 95% of them because I had called so quickly. So, I turned off the computer and tried to relax myself. Needless to say I got a lot less done on Friday before my sis and her fam came to stay than I had originally planned, but Stegen was able to recover ALL of my photos after over 24 hours of scanning my hard drive. I am sooooooo thankful!!! Guess what my first project will be once Stetson gets here???? HADDYN'S SCRAPBOOK! Also, we went and bought a new external hard drive just for my pics and those photos will be put on there by next week. I'm such an idiot and that's all I have to say, but I am so thankful for the help that got my pics back!

Well, on to my Dr. appointment. All is still well and nothing has changed, I am just so excited that unless he comes earlier, we have an induction date set for October 29, 2009. That cut a whole week off my time left. Heavenly :) See, we set a date because we are an hour and a half away from Blackfoot, where I am delivering, and we've been a little stressed about needing to get there in a hurry. Also, my Dr. informed me she is going out of town for 4 days before my due date and I'm like...so, wanna set a date to take him??? Anyway, I am stoked to have a date, even though I realize he may come earlier. As long as he is healthy, I wouldn't object to that either ;)

The last thing I wanted to post about real quick is Haddyn's bow board that Scott and I finally finished! We had a hard time finding someone who would do personalized vinyl lettering, so we've been trying to get this done for about a month now. I say Scott and I because he really helped--and not just with ideas! He painted all of the "H" except for the brown, but that means he did the hard part. In fact, the "H" paint job was all his idea too. How creative is he?? See, it all started with me getting sick of her bows being EVERYWHERE and so we started looking to buy. Well, we found a ton of "Princess" and "Queen" and girly ones like that, but ya know...we're not all that princess-y in this house, so we didn't really like any of them. Well, you know what that means--CRAFT TIME! Here is the finished project---I think it turned out cute!Oh, I almost forgot...we put Haddyn in her "big girl bed" over the weekend and she loves it! Here are a couple of cute pics of her sleeping in it for the first night. She will be getting a new bed set for her birthday, but she did pick out these bubble gum pink sheets with doggies all over them--classic! Then my sis brought her a Dora pillow case and she was stoked for that--we have to switch it between Dora and Map for nap and night time. The pink and brown pad thing on the floor is actually the changing pad we layed on the floor in case she happened to fall out, but she didn't. She does great with it! My baby is in a bed!! She looks so little in it! Also, she has the WORST bed hair every day now. It's so funny!

Bear Lake and Utah!

Well, so much for me doing better at blogging with the Internet at home! Oh well--too bad it will probably only get worse when Stetson arrives! 7 more weeks on that countdown by the way. I totally missed my 7 month pic, but I did capture an 8 month. Oh boy, the decrease in pics between the first and second child has begun already! Here is my fat self. I am SO ready for this last 7 weeks to go by. He is constantly up in my ribs and making them hurt. Haddyn did the same thing, but not for about 3 or 4 more weeks. Sleeping sucks and heartburn is my constant companion, but on an up note, all seems to be going well so I just hope he stays in there long enough to be a healthy and well developed little boy and not a SECOND longer :)First of all I'm going to put some stuff from our yearly trip to Bear Lake at the end of July. Yes, that was July. It was really fun, but we stayed 4 days and 5 nights this year and Haddyn had just lost her best friend (binky) the week before, so it was too long and a little stressful. We really did have a lot of fun though, but I guess we are getting old or something cause it just isn't the same with kid(s) and boy were we tired!
We'll start with Haddyn helping me pack. I went in the other room to get something and came back to find this.... Guess she wanted to make sure we didn't forget her!Haddyn really had a stressful trip as far as sleeping was concerned without her bink and she got this stomach bug that was no fun either. Poor girl! Anyway, sleeping was interesting to say the least and we were staying in my sister's trailer this year, so when she woke us up, she woke the entire family up! I bet they were ready to kick us out after night 1! I did manage to get a few "peaceful" shots of her though, at nap time however, not in the middle of the night when she should have been sleeping. I took these two at the same time, but obviously she and Scott were sleeping in different spots. This is a total Daddy photo of Haddyn and the only reason his doesn't look EXACTLY the same is because he is subconsciously aware that at any moment someone could walk in the door and see him. Observe.... Cute isn't it? I personally LOVE the farmer tan on BOTH my man and my girl! No but really, Haddyn loves to put her hand down her diaper at any time of the day when she's needing a little "comfort", but almost every night I check on her, hand down the diaper. HA!
Haddyn loves to watch us play a game on our phone she calls "balls". Scott loves that cause he gets to play and she sits quiet and watches, for about 5 seconds at least. Here is one of the few happy Daddy/daughter bonding moments of this trip. They were really cute love/hate kinda friends this trip with all of Haddyn's fits.Haddyn really enjoyed the beach this year. I swear she would have slept there if we would have let her. That poor girl had sand in more places than should ever occur, but it didn't slow her down any!Scott's favorite thing to do is bury his feet in the sand. Once again, like Daddy, like daughter...
Her bottoms kept falling down half way and showing her little swimmer. Good thing it wasn't her little crack! But once again, no bum, just like Daddy! Don't worry though, she has PLENTY of her Mama in her too.
We spent some time on the boat and Haddyn loved that too. She had so much fun watching Daddy and everyone else get in the water and play. Oh yah, and she loved the snacks!
Scott just before he dropped his ski. He LOVES to slalom, but can't get up on one ski so he drops one after he's up. It was way rough and he actually beat himself up pretty good that day, but had fun doing it!
These are 4 pretty stinkin' cute girls if you ask me! My bro-in-law Paul was taking Haddyn out on this huge tube to catch waves (wake on the beach) and my niece Morgan (front right) and her two little friends Haley and Cassie came along for the fun. Cassie is the other little girl in front and she is such a cheese! They had just hit a good little wave and all of them were a little caught off guard, but not her!
I love this pic. Haddyn is a funny, crazy little girl, but she is a thinker. This is a classic "thinking" face for her. She gets into this mode when she is doing something she is having fun with, but it's almost like she doesn't want to let anyone know it. Stinker.
We took Haddyn out on the wave runner for a little ride and she loved it! She loves fast, motorized things. It's so funny cause it's just like the four-wheeler...she yells "Fasser Daddy, Fasser!" P.S. check out my HOT white legs, YAH BABY!!
So my bro-in-law Paul has a big diesel truck with a pipe or chip or both or something, but anyway, it's REALLY loud. Every time Haddyn would hear it she would yell "Pow?" I'm sorry, but I have to spell it how she says it. So one day I watch her crawl up onto the ledge in the trailer and stare out the window looking for her Pow.
One last Bear Lake photo...Haddyn chillin' in her chair enjoying Cheetos and Gatorade. Isn't it funny how kids just BECOME your life??? I love being a Mommy---it is THE BEST THING EVER!!!
Okay, so as you can tell, we all had fun in Bear Lake, but we seriously went to Utah like 4 times in July for concerts and family reunions and such so I wanted to talk about a couple of those trips real quick too. The first concert we went to was The Fray. It was fun. We went with our friends Jake and Adele and met up with 2 of their friends too. It was Jake's birthday the day before so we made it a party and stayed in a hotel for a night. It was pretty funny though because all 3 of us girls were pregnant and far enough along it was totally obvious. We got so many funny looks, especially when we were at the restaurant and two of the boys left and we were all with just one of them....3 pregnant chics with one pimp daddy in Utah--what seems weird about that? ha,haMy man is the BEST man and for Mother's Day, well, actually he forgot Mother's Day-so it was more like for a redemption Mother's Day gift, he got us tickets to KENNY CHESNEY. Oh baby, oh baby. The concert was seriously amazing! There were actually supposed to be 4 bands there, but Sugarland cancelled so we saw Lady Antabellum, Miranda Lambert and Kenny Chesney. As much as we both enjoy Sugarland and would have loved seeing them, it was a super fun concert (minus the 104 degree temp with the bonus bun in the oven) and we had so much fun together. We rarely do dates just the two of us because Scott doesn't see Haddyn all day and two days a week I'm in Blackfoot working, so we do more family style dates usually, but it was really fun just being together the two of us. I have been holding out for my sis-in-law, who was right next to the stage, to get me some REALLY good pics of Kenny, but I'll post the ones we have and if I ever get those, I'll share them later. I do have to say that Kenny hasn't won the Entertainer of the Year award for like 5 years for no reason. He really gets into his concerts and it was way fun. There was one part where he was singing "Where I Come From" and they were showing pics on the big screen of Utah stuff and the Jazz got people cheering loud and then the temple got people cheering louder and then the Utes came on and I think people cheered louder for that than Kenny! It was cool though...not too bad for the eyes either lookin at Kenny for a couple of hours. ha,ha You'd think that would bother Scott, but first of all he's used to it with Kenny and second of all, he knows who the true hottie is in my life and that's all I gotta say! Thanks for such a good time babes...doing anything with you is fun, but that was SUPER fun!! LOVE YOU!!! A fan had thrown a U of U hat on stage earlier in the night and so he came back out wearing it. You can't really tell, but it is a red cap. : )We went to Utah again for a family reunion out in Tooele and stopped to see our friends Travis and Nicole's new house and have dinner. It was so much fun to see them. We used to live in the same apartment building when we were both in Poky and Nicole and I walked together while I was prego with Haddyn and she was prego with their little girl Kaydence and then until we moved really. We missed them already moving to Driggs, but then we came to Heyburn and they moved to Utah. Anyway, it was great to see them. It's funny how we're all growing up and getting lives and stuff, but we'll always have the memories and the good times!! Haddyn and Kaydence are about 3 weeks apart and besides the fact Haddyn doesn't like kids her own age, they have always been cute little pals. We loved hanging with them for the night and seeing their cute house and of course finding out they are having a little girl again the end of December. YAY! Too bad we live too far apart to walk together now, but I guess it's a good thing we both have 2 year olds to keep us busy instead!
I always do this, but once again I didn't get any pics of us as a group, but I got some cute ones of Haddyn and Kaydence. Like I said, Haddyn seriously dislikes kids her own age, or actually walking to about 3, but she was sharing her Cheetos so cute and she would say "Want some more Kaydence?" and Kaydence would reply "Yes, please" and Haddyn would give her one and say "There you go" and Kaydence would say "Thank you!" and Haddyn would say "Welcome" and then they would start all over again. It was so cute! I got a video, but it was on my camera and has to be modied and once again, I'm a retard and can't remember how to do it and Travis and Nicole no longer live downstairs to show me how so yah...just look at the pics and imagine it! By the way, Haddyn DOES eat things other than Cheetos, despite what this post has shown you :)Well, I think that is finally it. Not that I'm caught up by any means, but now at least I'm to August. Sounds a lot like my scrapbooking, hmmm. Oh well!
