Dancing

We went to the open house at the temple up in Boise last weekend and Case and Crue showed off their moves in the hotel. I love their side to side dance. Case started it and had a SUPER CUTE dance he does WHILE crawling, but I haven't been able to catch it on film. Love this video!! (Case is in blue.)

Bath Time!!!

Scott is crazy and likes to bathe all of the kids together (NOT I), but it did produce some pretty cute pics recently!!!

(So Crue kind of dunked himself/got dunked in this pic, but I feel it
important to mention that no children were harmed in this photo session)

11 Months!

Case and Crue turned 11 months on September 18, 2012!  It just so happened it was a pretty nice day outside, so we could do the pictures outside!  Of course...it was as eventful as it has been since they became mobile, but it is always a fun challenge to get the monthly pics done.  Man, it would be so much easier to do this with one!  haha
I have no new stats, but will at the 12 month post.  They are definitely getting taller, because clothes are getting too small once again.  They are such good babies, even though they continue to get more and more teeth. Case got the first tooth on the bottom R on 9/9/12 and Crue bottom R on 9/10/12.  From there, they took off in different directions at completely different times.  Case had one tooth on bottom for an entire month before his top R tooth came in on 10/10/12.  We called him Snaggle Tooth.  It was  a little funny looking.  Crue however was a little more true to "teeth" logic and got his bottom L next 11 days later and then the top two within 9 days of each other.  He just got his 3rd tooth on top two days ago!  Crue is a little more crabby and sad then Case with each tooth...sometimes I can't even tell Case has one coming in.  Maybe cause he's moody all of the time???  Ha!
They are both walking along furniture, but not enough balance to let to and walk yet.  Case doesn't even try...his crawl is TOO FAST.  Crue, on the other hand, thinks he can walk and lets go of everything and then of course, he crashes.  Tough cookie!  They are both crawling 99% of the time, as opposed to scooting.  Case will scoot when he really wants to book it and even crawling isn't fast enough.  He looks like a little salamander when he "slithers".  I have a feeling he will RUN and not stop once he gets on his feet.
I have never had my kids crawl as long as these two have (Haddyn walked at 10 months and Stets at 10 1/2), so I've found that they crawl out of their pants ALL OF THE TIME!  It's the worst!  I have finally found a solution...mitten clips.  Clips on each side of a piece of elastic...connect to one belt loop, under the middle belt loop, connect to the other and vowlah!  OR connect to each side of waist band on sweats and it pulls the back together enough to keep pants on.  Love it!
Well, enough chatting...I've used all of my allotted blog time....here are the pics!!

Another fun photo sequence...pretty much the norm when trying to photograph both:

The cutest one of them together, but they are holding the wrong bears...Case has the brown one and Crue has the blue...
Back to the right bears...
Love these boys!!

10 months!

10 MONTHS!!!  These babies just grow and grow!  They are scooting machines and are working on getting their crawl on.  Case is SO fast at his "slither" that he just doesn't have the patience to learn this crawling thing.  They both sleep through the night now, with the exception of Crue once or twice a week thinking 5 am is snack time.  What is it with nursing babies??  They have still been working on those teeth...but none yet at 10 months.  Granted, I am writing this after their 11 month mark, and they have them now.  That's what you get when you're so far behind!
Case:

(Not Cooperating...as usual for this kid) He's BUSTING up laughing! Turd!
That's better!
Crue:
1st try.  He's so chill.  I tried to post another one, but I only took two and they were perfect.  haha
Cheese!!
 My FAVE!!

 My babes!!
Summer has been great for all of us!  I'll include some pics of the kids enjoying the slip n' slide all together.  I had like 2 inches (if that) of water in the pool and the babies just kept crawling from pool to slip n' slide and back.  It was funny...they loved it!  Stetson just followed them back and forth laughing and as you can see all Haddyn cared about was pouring water on herself.

I sure am thankful for these days...for these special times with my sweeties and that my hubby is a STUD and I have the opportunity to stay at home and teach my kids.  (the good and bad...haha)  Haddyn dropped something the other day in the other room and I hear her say, "OH CRAP!"  Well, even though I try, it could be worse.  I'm pretty sure I had already said the other word by her age, so technically, she's behind.  HA!

Recent happenings!

So, I'm a pretty big slacker in the blogging department, but someday I'll catch up! Summer was great this year. We had a trip to Colorado Springs where Scott, the babies and I went to visit our friends Taylor and Sarah and their new baby Isabelle. Then we went to Bear Lake in July...awesome as always! Scott has lost 28 lbs and we both started running in June. And of course we hit up a couple of different fairs and rodeos recently. Oh, and can't forget this...Stetson is potty trained!!! Yay for the big boy! My 12 year old niece Kortnee came to stay for a couple of weeks this summer and help me out and she got him going and then he just kept on keeping on with it. It has been great! When Kort showed up she told me she was foing to have Stets potty trained when she left-I told her good luck! Well, she showed me!! What a couple of studs! The kids have grown, GROWN and we've all had a good time!
Haddyn started preschool again last week. She loves it and it's nice to be back in school mode. This weekend was also her first soccer game! She's loving it and I'm sure will get the hang of it in time. She's a good runner (like her Mommy). :-)
The babies both have one tooth now! They got the same tooth (bottom right) one day apart. Case 1week ago yesterday and Crue 1 week ago today! Crue especially has been kinda cranky. They are both starting to crawl more than they scoot and walk along EVERYTHING! Crue is the most brave when it comes to letting go and trying to step, but it never ends well!
Here are a few random pics off of my phone. One will be of Crue under a chair--they both choose to crawl through the chairs instead of around, but Case is the worst at it!! That kid can get through any barricade with a hole half his size!

Here is what we had to build to keep him out of the kitchen to mop--he had busted through everything with ANY space between it! I call him Houdini.

Haddyn 1st soccer practice:

1st finger foods!

My niece Kortnee came to stay with us for 2 weeks-

9 Months!!

It's official, my babies are as old as it takes to get them here...not quite the case with these guys, but I have to say that 8 months of pregnancy was way worse than my normal 9!  Good thing they are double worth it!! :)
They are growing so fast!  Case is a mad man and crawled for the first time on July 25th.  They actually turned 9 months on July 18th, so yay for him.  However, he is SO FAST as his army crawl he doesn't have the patience to crawl.  He has started sleeping with his little bum in the air though.  It's so cute!  He's very petite and has small bone structure like Haddyn and I (Scott would say, "is that a fat joke? right about now).  It's funny how different he feels to hold than Crue.  He supports his weight a lot better, plus he weighs less.  He always has little red dry spots on his knees now.  He also pulled himself up to the tub on July 24th.  And the couch and stool and now about anything he can.  These boys stay in a stage a lot longer than my other two kids did, so they are getting A LOT of head bonks with learning this standing up thing, but they are tough!
Crue is my Mama's boy.  You cannot beg him to go see Daddy, but then again you can't beg Case to come see me when Scott is home.  It's sad that we have to always feed the same baby, with Scott not lactating and all, but it's super cute to see a baby bond with Daddy so young in a way that the other's haven't been able to because I nursed them exclusively.  Crue will NOT take a bottle with a single drop of formula in it...he prefers to simply not eat if it doesn't come from a boob.  Well, so far that isn't a problem, but it's funny how picky those nursing babies can get.  Well, MY nursing babies.  Not sure if that is across the board or not.
Crue is a scooter, a lot like Haddyn.  he propels himself with his left leg and arm and his right side kinda just goes along for the ride.  It's cute, but amazingly slower than Case.  He is also starting to hold his own against "thief", or Case.  Case has been the little bully and stealer of the toys from day one, but Crue is starting to take it a little less and less each day.  They are really starting to play together very cute!  They LOVE Haddyn and Stetson and I love that they laugh so easily for Lane or Stets.  Case is a lot easier to make laugh and has such an infectious smile.  What a happy boy, but DO NOT GET THAT KID HUNGRY.  My oh my, he has his mother's genes there.  No patience in that one.  Haddyn all over again.
Here are the 9 month stats on 7/23/12...
Case: Head Circ- 17.5", Weight- 16 lb 10 oz (full of milk), Length- 28"
Crue: Head Circ- 17.5", Weight 16lb 12 oz (no milk yet), Length- 28.5"
They are very close.  Crue is still a little heavier and .5 inches longer.  They are growing on their curve very well.  Now up to 25% on height and almost 10% on weight.  Well proportioned though!!

 Happy Boys!

 Is that myself I see???
When they look, she doesn't...
 ...there she is!
Ok, best sequence of photos EVER...

Crue looks so innocent...Case looks so happy-
Give me a hug-
 Back off!
 I want to eat you-
 Fish hook!
 MMMOOOOMMMMM!!
It is SO usually the other way around.  Crue stays calm, cool and collected.  If I didn't catch how that went down on film, you'd never know....
