Haddyn's Room

I'm excited to say that Haddyn's room is now decorated and all of the projects I had planned before she was even born are finally complete!
Her name on the wall started as wooden letters and Scott and I painted them and then I glued some cute paper on them and inked the edges. It was time consuming, but look how cute it is now!!
My most proud accomplishment of all is her window valance. This started as 4 large pieces of material and I cut it into the pieces, pinned it together and then used a friends sewing machine (which I had to wind the bobbin and thread it myself) and sewed it all together and added the ribbon along the edge. You all have to understand that I JUST learned how to sew last summer when I was pregnant and feeling domesticatable. (New word!) Anyway, it is quite an accomplishment and I'll brag all I want cause I'm proud of myself. I was SO excited and hung it up and when Scott came home I made him go in a look and he had this to say, "cool". Imagine this in the most monotone voice possible. Pretty much.
Well, that's the story of Haddyn's room. It may not seem like much, but I'm pretty stoked about the whole thing. Who would have thought I could make things!! I'm going to include a pic of Haddyn playing with her new ball that she loves. Daddy thought he'd let her play with it while we were at the store and then put it back and well, we were introduced to fit throwing at the ripe age of 7 months....she won.

Mother's Day Debut

"The love of a true mother comes nearer to being like the love of God than any other kind of love." Joesph F. Smith

I love Mother's Day. I love that quote as well. I think it strikes a little sweet spot somewhere inside of me... and yes, those do exist : )

Okay, now that I've shared that I'll tell ya about my present. Scott (and Haddyn) got me a new vacuum! It's awesome. Our old vacuum, which we were VERY thankful for, came from my sister and her husband and they got it for their wedding... making it 12 years old. That's pretty good for a Hoover! The best part was that everyone in the complex knew when we were vacuuming because it was so loud. Okay, may be exaggerating a LITTLE with that, but at least everyone in our building. So, this beauty has a 10 year warranty and best of all---I no longer have to dust after I vacuum!! Love it!! It's a Riccar, as you can see in the photo, and it has zero % dust output and even some percentage of micro bacterial something or other. I don't know, but it's cool! It even leaves vacuum marks in the carpet--BONUS! I'm spoiled and I love my honey for making that happen...sorry girls, but I happen to have the BEST hubby (and daddy) ever!

True Moulton (and some)

It is official, I am the boring one. I have been told repeatedly that I need to let Scott post on the blog from now on. Hmm, if you guys think you wait a long time for ME to post, just wait and see when his next post comes along! : ) So really, I'm sorry I suck at this. However, I have had a few things I've been wanting to post, I have just been so busy with school and work and well, being a Mom, that it got put on hold. But...I'll add one today too.

This picture is actually from our trip to Cali, but it's so cute I had to post it. Haddyn is sitting up so much better now, but this is proof she is a Moulton! It was so funny...Scott was walking behind her and there it was, a sight that I am so familiar with from him! HA, HA!! So cute!

Also, I can't figure out how to load a video without it taking like over an hour to load...because it's been loading for 45 minutes now and it's still not done. So, I'll put some pics on of Haddyn's first experience feeding herself. Well, technically she had a Grandma day last week and she ate her FIRST graham cracker there, but this was the first one at home. It's so cute. She's growing up so fast!!!

I just can't quit. I'm going to add one more cute one of shower time---G Rated!! She loves her showers with her daddy!! (It's one of the only times she'll give him cuddles, but I get them all of the time)
If any of you have any ideas about the video thing, let the techno retards know K?? AND--No worries to Scott's new fan base...I'll have him back in no time a'tall. Stay tuned...

SUNDAY FAMILY WALK, KINDA?

Greetings from the MOULTON'S!!!
Since Kelli is busy with Haddyn, I thought that I would try my hand at this. My words will be much less poetic, but since I graduated from Teton High School--where English was a foreign language--what do you expect.
Today, Sunday, Kelli, Haddyn and I decided to go for our traditional Sunday walk. However, this Sunday was a bit different. To give a bit of background, this is my "HOG." The HOG is built purely for speed and performance, and has been patently awaiting its debut to actually show off the tremendous advantage it has to most other 2 wheeled machines. I purchased the HOG a year ago, during a short lived mid-life crisis. Most of the miles put on the fine tuned machine have been me walking, running, and panting along side of it. During this time of growth, I discovered a new unimaginable side of myself.
1. I am not a mechanic--nor can I tell how much gas is in a tank--since a majority of my problems have been lack of the precious $4 formula.
2. Our neighbors do not like me, since the HOG is in no way road worthy I must use the parking lot as a drag strip.
3. My vocabulary has grown to encompass many 4 letter words--besides OUCH!!!
Back to our walk...
It is still a mystery how Kelli and I get along, she is very much into physical fitness--I on the other hand find too much physical activity leaves me winded and out of breath--two things I don't like. Since going on a walk meant both of these would be involved, I chose to ride the HOG since it has been in peak riding condition and might not stay this way for very long. We had a great outing and I enjoyed my self not having to walk beside it even once.
On a side note if any would like to join my biker gang the "wind piglets" please feel free. I love to just get out on the highway and open up the throttle and ride, get some wind in my hair and smell the exhaust.
