Last Friday as we were getting ready to head to Utah I went to the laundry room to get something and when I went back to the bathroom and I could not find Haddyn anywhere. So, I started going room to room and calling her name and I could hear her SOMEWHERE, but I couldn't see her anywhere and she wasn't calling back. It seemed like I could almost hear her in the wall or something. So, I went to the bathroom and saw the under sink cupboard (the one with nothing stored in it) had the door cracked just a little and sure enough...she emerged. I ran to get the camera and this is what I captured. If your sound is on you will hear her say "Heeellllo" the 2nd and 3rd time she pokes her head out...I cracked up! She comes up with new words every day and I just laugh when she says them the first few times cause she is so cute! I'm such a sap! Enjoy!!

Snow Drift Fun
I have pretty much failed on the one post every week day, but I am TRYING to do better, I promise. These are a few older pics from January that I have been meaning to post. The two things I can tell you about Driggs for sure thus far are that it snows a lot and it blows the snow a lot. As a result, we had a drift of snow off the corner of our house that almost touched the ground. Unfortunately we had already tried to beat it off from the bottom before taking any pics, so you don't get to see the full effect. Here are a series of pictures of the 45 min process of digging it off...
Starts out happy!
Stealing a nap...J/K
He's so sick of shoveling!!!
Livin' on the edge and stepping off the roof onto the drift to chop away-also notice the pile of snow that goes 1/3 of the way up the side of our house that he has dug off!
Here he is all done and with a broken shovel...see how STRONG my stud of a husband is??
I already randomly posted this pick a few posts ago, but it was taken after being outside bundled in the stroller and cheering her Daddy on for about 25 minutes...it was SOOO cold!
Here's the video of Scott jumping off of the roof when he was done. He was a little worried about how high it seemed, but after jumping he realized it was not even worth filming...but I'm going to post it anyway because I'm proud of him for facing his fears!! :)

The Famous Clothes Stand
Our daughter is a perfect product of the two of us. Half weird (me) and half do anything for a laugh (Scott). I'm not sure that will work to her advantage later in life, but for now it sure makes for some funny events in our life!
Exhibit A:
Here we have Haddyn in a "clothes stand" that she has been in for about 2 minutes prior to us finally fetching the camera. As you can see she had thrown all of the clothes up onto herself. She will literally sit for a half an hour piling clothes off of her and back on herself. What can I say?? My daughter is very creative and entertains herself well, just like I used to :) I think it's cute, I just hope she grows out of it before I did. HA!! J/K, I'm totally normal and I don't care what anyone says...I stand by my normalcy!

Cookin' with Dad!!
The other night Scott decided to cook brownies and so he decided to make it a Daddy/Daughter activity. Great idea...Haddyn LOVES cooking!! So, as he's putting her on the table and getting ready to start I briefly mention how undressing her to her diaper may be a good idea. His reply was "No, you'll be just fine, won't you Laners?" Here is what followed...
She would put the beater in her mouth and let it hang out until it fell and do it again. It was really funny. She has such a unique little personality--she makes us laugh all of the time!
Needless to say after a little cleaning up and a few washes in the washing machine (not Haddyn, just the clothes), all was back to normal :)
We established it would have been EASIER to take her clothes off, but more fun??? Of course not!!

Random Pics
We finally have Internet at our house that we don't have to "borrow" when it's available! YAY!! I feel re-connected to the world! Anyway, my goal is to post a new post every day for a while until I get caught up, well, excluding weekends. So, we'll see how it goes! Today I'm just going to post some random pics of Haddyn being Haddyn. She is getting at least one of her eye teeth right now and she is such a beast...poor baby!
Here's a funny one...before we finished moving out of our old apartment there was a little storage closet and Haddyn found this blue marble egg that she would take out of the box and take into the storage closet and put it under this shelf. Every time I'd take it and pack it, she'd get it out and put it in the closet right in the same totally random spot. Funny kid! Oh yah, the piece of wrapping paper was her doing too! I'm sure she had a method to her madness :)
The next one was at our old apartment too and Haddyn was so tired we made a bed for her in our old room on the floor and left her coat on her and everything. When I went to check on her this is what I found:
She looks like she's face down, but she is actually on her side and her face is looking at her hand. No worries...she was breathing! :) Fun stuff!
The next pics are her new fave habit of sharing her dinner with her hair, wearing Daddy's gloves, sleeping with her head lodged in the chair, reading, chillin' with pink cheekies after helping me shovel, and using a garbage bag as ~

Haddyn loves two things...Daddy and carrying around my prenatal vitamins. Don't ask me! Anyway, here she is hangin' with both!
Haddyn LOVES all of her cousins, but she does have her faves and my almost 12-year-old nephew Tyson is one of those. It's kinda funny cause Tyson is in that inbetween stage where it's not necessarily cool to hang with the youngins', but he loves Haddyn following him around and she turns into the biggest ham when he's around. It's so cute!
