Blessed

After much reminding from a patient wife, I finally need to write a blog. Kelli and I both feel extremely blessed these pass few months. Many of you know that the bank in Driggs that I had been working at failed April 24th... #38 this year. Just think, I was only working there 8 months...not too shabby. Since then we have been looking elsewhere for a job. I absolutely loved my job at First Bank of the Tetons and the idea of working with the FDIC was not going to be in my future. The night that the bank failed I thought of the bank that I wanted to work for after I graduated last spring. That bank had a Management Training program that really intrigued me, but at the time the program didn't have a start date until November, too long to wait without a job.
Meanwhile, I was given a great opportunity at First Bank and our family found ourselves in Driggs--HOME SWEET HOME!!! The next Monday I sent an application and resume to DL Evans Bank in Burley. On Wednesday I got a call to interview with them for a Special Assets Advisor position they had coming up. The interview went well. The next week I got a call from them wanting me to return to interview for the Management Training program instead. They had felt they wanted me there instead. It turns out that the November start date had been pushed back to June.
Monday, I started the program at DL Evans Bank in Burley. We are moving on Saturday to a little house. We will be there for 6 to 12 months...then end up "somewhere" between Rexburg and Pocatello.
I am humbled to express how much the Lord has blessed our family. We have seen some really special things take part in our life. In this world of uneasiness and struggles for everyone, we have never been happier. We are so excited for this opportunity and I am lucky to have a wife that is there to steady me when I'm weak and pry me up when I crash. She has never once complained about the situation we were in when I was blaming everyone. I have been blessed.
PLUS...I get to see a little boy in a couple of months. See ya soon Stetson

Congratulations you guys! I was so excited to hear about your new job in Burley and especially about finding out that you are going to be the proud of parents of a little baby boy! Stetson, huh? That is a really cute name, I can just tell from his name that he is going to be a manly man like his dad :)
When is the little guy scheduled to come?

Way to sneak some really big news in, Scott. I almost lost it in with everything else. Plus, my preggo brain is total swiss cheese, so before I realized it was your own kid you were talking about, I wondered if you guys had signed up for foster kids. HA. Well, anyway, congrats on all your new comings and goings!
